woah, my last entry was like in October so I guess I should do an update.

Fall 2008= semi-sucked.

I nearly failed Interior Design and I totally loathe interior design now. So I switched majors into Graphic Design.

I was nominated to be part of the Exchange program to Japan and I was very excited. However, things have changed due to obligatory and financial troubles so I withdrew from the program Spring 2009

Spring 2009

I miss Creative Writing although my RWS class isn't as bad as I thought it would be. My teacher is lively and he initiates interesting discussions to engage us in class.

I'm taking Japanese in the morning and it's ... not really going along so well. In the beginning of the semester. it was a complete disaster. I nearly forgot everything I learned from the previous semester and I'm trying really hard to get myself out of the gutter.

Graphic Design is like a breath of fresh air for me. The teacher is more involved with our projects and actually comes around to look at our work and give advice. Unlike my Interior Design Teacher. However, at the current moment, I am falling behind and I'm trying my best to catch up in our current project, only because this project overlapped with the first one. HORRIBLE.

P.S. I just so happen to find out that my childhood friend got married in November and didn't bother to tell me about
Oh well, as long as she's happy, she's got her reasons.

Reflection:

I am incredibly stressed out here. I'm burning out faster than a Blue Sun (Blue Suns are HUGE stars that only last for a few million years while the other cooler stars (Red Giants) last for...several billion years.)<< random astronomy fact.

I am at the point where I want to quit school. Period. But like the dumbass and stubborn mule I am, I will push through my limits and finish what needs to be done. Spring Break is almost here and I think that'll give me some time to "recharge"

Next semester I plan to focus mainly on Japanese because I'm going to apply again to the program. I'll just take a couple of life drawing and/or painting classes. Just to save my sanity. If I go into Graphic Design II I might just crack.
